Alex and Eli’s Blog

After having the friends over the other day, we got a new trampoline that has a net around it. That way Tina can zip them in and let them use some of their extensive energy supplies. It was kind of an Easter gift, but it was more for Tina than the kids.

Our friend’s mom’s Church had a massive easter egg hunt with about 30,000 eggs so we took Alex and Eli there Saturday. Some of the pictures below are from the hunt and the others are from this morning. We gave them both a couple Easter baskets.

Alex got hearing aids last week, but i’ve been waiting to upload the video before saying much about it. We video taped the doctor visit and his reaction to “hearing” more.

A couple friends of ours came over with their boys and jumped on the trampoline Saturday. We had a good time and checked out their church today in our search for a home.

Some friends of ours invited us over to their house for Thanksgiving and we had a really good time. It wasn’t like Thanksgiving in Oklahoma, but it was a good substitute.

We took these photos after a photo shoot at the beach and a nice lady helped us get a family photo.

i’ve been doing all this research at work about social media (podcasting, twitter, facebook, etc.) and noticed that Eli is talking constantly. So i recorded him this evening playing in the tub and got some good stuff. Maybe Eli could have a weekly podcast.

We took the boys over to Cindy’s to assemble some pizzas and play. The first six photos were taken at our house a couple days ago.

Since we don’t yet have a family photo, we took a stab at it. Didn’t have much time but we did get this photo. It is totally temporary and hopefully we will have a good one soon.

Alex and Eli finally had their first bath together and of course i brought my camera. Earlier today Eli was making good progress toward walking. i’ll try to put the video on YouTube and link it here when i get a chance. For now, you can just enjoy the photos.

Eli’s buddy Matthew came over to visit with his mommy and daddy so they could get some new photos. We had a chance to get some with Eli and Alex too.

Tina, Alex and Eli left this morning to head back to Texas with Tina’s mom and grandmother. Since i’ll be on the road and Tina isn’t supposed to lift anything, we thought Texas would be best for now. Lord willing she will be home soon.
